Curious George Cupcakes!

I made Curious George cupcakes for a sweet boy's birthday.
I was pretty happy with them.
My favorite things about these guys:
The ears that stick out.
And how adorable they look as a group of monkeys.

The neverending high to the sky swirls.

Birthday Candle for the Birthday Boy.

I used "Runts" for the bananas. I made sure to randomly scatter them around the frosting swirls.

Curious George loves balloons.
And so do birthday boys.

Blog Envy.

I have had a bad bad case of blog envy lately.
You know..those food bloggers who get like 200 comments on their posts every single time they post a new blog? How in the world does that happen? I want to discover the mystery. I would like to be one of those amazing celebrity cupcake geniuses one day!

But most of all, I want to know the mystery people who read my blog.
So please, feel free to post comments and introduce yourself.
I might just make a cupcake inspired by *you*.
I've been known to do that a time or two ♥

Until then.. some more yummy late night inspiration...........

Ok, so I think James Franco can be classified as a yummy late night inspiration

so are pies made into cakes.

Fantasy Wand Cupcake Forest!

What could get better than fluffy swirly frosted cupcakes?
Perhaps adding fairy wands?
The most important addition is the birthday girl.
None of this would exist without her. ♥ Alayna.

Enchanting ladies with dresses made out of frosting and butterfly wings!
Better than a cherry on top-a Birthday slumber party with your best friends.
Some of the best times I ever had involved slumber parties and cake.
So I took a little trip down memory lane and remembered what it was like to be a *girl* (not a woman)... but a *girl* again.  I kind of went crazy creating tulle fairy wand cupcake toppers out of lollypop sticks, fantasy colored tulle fabric and gems!

My inner fashionista draped dresses made out of frosting onto some pretty little cupcake ladies.

I am sure the cupcake ladies were happy to be wearing clothes! And pretty ones at that!

I thought a blue bow looked just as pretty as the typical fairy wand.

Edible gems ♥ made out of jolly ranchers.

Swirl Photography is the best.

An enchanted forest of tulle wands, frosting. You can even pick the gems off the cupcakes and eat them!

Frosting princess in the delicious enchanted forest.
